If you haven't already experienced our tower of Giraffe's in Room 14, the photo below provides a great snapshot of our creative ability! As a class we practiced drawing the features of the Giraffe's face, including the eyes, mouth, long nose, Ossicones (horns), and its spots before starting our final copy. We are proud of our giraffe's and hope you enjoy them!
'Some Day In The Future' by Room 14
Here in room 14 we value the Arts and the creative abilities children have to offer. In collaboration with Mr. Caetano's guitar playing and our lyrics, we were able to write our own song 'Some Day In The Future'! Here is a picture of our songwriting in progress! We also have actions to go along with the lyrics. If you want to listen to this awesome song of ours, let us know and I'm sure we can make a time to share it as a class!
August 14 - Rocket Ships and 3-D Art: Room 14 has recently been involved in using everyday materials such as cello tape to create the 3-D effect of exhaust fumes exiting our Rockets!!! We used fluro paint and we also needed yellow, red and orange strips to make the effect of fire and explosive rocket fuel. We hope you like them =D
